Delete your account

You can delete your EventPlanners account and everything in it at any time. Choose the way that suits you below.
Fastest
In the app
- Open the EventPlanners app and sign in.
- Go to Settings and tap Delete My Account (or open your Profile).
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
Your account and all of its data are deleted straight away. You are signed out when it is done.
No app needed
By email
Send an email from the address you use to sign in to [email protected] with the subject Delete my account.
Email a deletion request
We reply to confirm the request comes from you, then delete everything within 30 days at the latest (usually within a few days).
What is deleted
- Your account: sign in details, name, email address, phone number and profile photo.
- Every event you created, with its invitation, schedule, checklist, budget, seating and settings.
- Guest lists, RSVP answers and messages for your events.
- All photos and videos in your event galleries, from our database and from our file storage (Cloudflare R2).
- Co host links and invitations, your support messages and feedback.
What we keep, and for how long
- Purchase records (Google Play order number, plan, price, date and the email address on the purchase) are kept only as long as tax and accounting laws require. Google Play keeps its own payment records under Google's policies.
- A security record of the deletion (your account ID, email address and the date) is kept for 12 months so we can prove the deletion took place, then removed automatically.
- Reports you sent us about content are kept for moderation, without your name or email address.
- Reports other people sent about photos or videos in your events (the event title, the uploader's name and the report) are kept for moderation and safety reviews.
Nothing else is kept. We never sell your data.
Delete only some of your data
You do not have to delete your whole account:
- An event: open the event, go to the Settings tab and tap Delete Event Permanently in the Danger Zone. The event, its guests, RSVPs, photos and videos are deleted for good.
- A photo or video: open it in the event gallery and tap the delete icon.
- A guest: open the Guests tab and tap the delete icon next to the guest.
Events are also deleted automatically once the number of days included in your plan has passed after the event date. The app shows this date on each event, and we email you 7 days before.
Were you a guest?
If you replied to an invitation or shared photos at someone's event, the event host can remove your RSVP and your photos. You can also email us with the event link and we will remove them for you.
